Job summary

Brain Activation Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru seeks a passionate Special Needs Teacher to join our Early Intervention team. You will work with young children with developmental delays, providing individualized support and structured intervention to develop cognitive, communication, social, emotional, and adaptive skills.

You will plan IEPs, conduct 1-to-1 and small group sessions, monitor progress, adapt curriculum, and collaborate with therapists, shadow aides, and parents.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, or related field
• Experience in early intervention or working with children with special needs is preferred
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin/Chinese due to families of children with language barrier
• Knowledge of behavior management strategies and developmental milestones
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and documentation skills

• Provide guidance and strategies to parents for home support
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
• Participate in case discussions, meetings, and professional development
