Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Klang City is seeking a candidate to provide accurate product drawings and technical support to the manufacturing team. The ideal applicant should have at least 3 years of experience in the manufacturing sector, a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, and be proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Effective communication skills in both English and Malay are essential. This role offers an opportunity to work on special product designs and improvements.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible to provide product drawing accurately and in timely manner
• To ensure meeting the drawing dateline all the time.
• Work closely with manufacturing team to ensure no delay in production due to no drawing
• Responsible to provide complete information of special product
• Provide Technical drawing and BOM information to be key into BaaN (ERP System)
• Liaison with manufacturing team on special product requirements
• Provide technical support to Manufacturing team if needed
• Follow up with Manufacturing team on Special items first build up
• Responsible to new product design/product improvement
• Work closely with Manufacturing team on new product/Special/customize products
• Responsible to new/special product costing
• Sourcing for local parts and components
• To ensure new/special product coding for BaaN systems
• Perform any other tasks assigned by superior and management from time to time

• Able to self-manage, prioritize and result oriented
• Strong focus on clear and effective communication with team and others

Qualifications / Educational Requirements / Experience

• Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing industry and preferable in fast movement work environment
• Possess a Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Design or any other related field.
• Good communication skills in English and Malay
• Must be proficient in Solid work and AutoCad.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
