A global IT services firm in Kuala Lumpur is looking for an individual responsible for administering underwriting tasks. The candidate will perform pre-underwriting assessments, manage data capture and email communications, and uphold compliance with guidelines. Ideal applicants will have 1-3 years of experience in the medical or underwriting field. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
This person will be responsible for underwriting administrative task (new application processing, participate in review meeting, and quality assurance) and pre-underwriting. They are expected to utilize knowledge in operation / medical / underwriting along with logical and analytical thinking, to ensure that the applications for enrolment and/or policy changes for individual health schemes are processing smoothly, compliant to guidelines and pre-underwritten in a consistent and accurate manner.
The purpose of the job is to ensure daily activity (like data-capture, email separation, filing, pre-underwriting, etc...) are handled smoothly and accurately as according to the guidelines and business rules, and client delivering quality outcome.
