PMG Healthcare Group is seeking a Planogram / Space Planning Manager in Kuala Lumpur to optimize product placement across retail pharmacy locations. You will lead planogram development, collaborate with Merchandising, Marketing and Store Operations, and drive performance with data-driven space allocations.

The Planogram / Space Planning Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective planograms that optimize product placement, enhance customer experience, and maximize sales across all retail pharmacy locations. This role partners closely with the Merchandising, Marketing, and Store Operations teams to ensure in-store layouts reflect brand strategy, promotional plans, and category performance objectives.
The Planogram / Space Planning Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective planograms that optimize product placement, enhance customer experience, and maximize sales across all retail pharmacy locations. This role partners closely with the Merchandising, Marketing, and Store Operations teams to ensure in-store layouts reflect brand strategy, promotional plans, and category performance objectives.
Design and maintain planograms for all pharmacy categories, ensuring optimal product visibility, flow, and compliance with merchandising standards.
Utilize space planning software (e.g., Nielsen Spaceman, Blue Yonder) to create accurate and efficient layouts.
Analyze sales and customer data to inform space allocation and assortment decisions.
Ensure all planograms are implemented accurately in stores and aligned with seasonal and promotional calendars.
Partner with Merchandising teams to translate category strategies into effective shelf layouts.
Work closely with Marketing to integrate in-store promotional displays, signage, and campaigns into planogram designs.
Collaborate with Store Operations to ensure feasibility, compliance, and consistency of planogram execution across locations.
Support category resets, new product launches, and marketing events through timely planogram updates.
Monitor planogram compliance through audits and store feedback.
Evaluate performance metrics such as sales per linear foot, SKU productivity, and inventory turnover to drive continuous improvement.
Recommend changes based on market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor analysis.
Maintain planogram database, ensuring accuracy and version control.
Develop and document planogram guidelines, implementation manuals, and visual merchandising standards.
Train store teams and field merchandisers on new planogram execution and display standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field.
4–6 years of experience in planogram management, space planning, or visual merchandising, preferably in retail pharmacy, FMCG, or grocery.
Proficiency in space planning software (e.g., Blue Yonder, Nielsen Spaceman).
Strong analytical, visual, and project management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience working cross-functionally with Marketing, Merchandising, and Store Operations.
