Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a professional massage therapist to deliver high-quality massage treatments in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. You will assess client needs, apply techniques, maintain hygiene, and follow company policies while providing courteous service.

Strong communication, confidentiality, and physical fitness are essential, with willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays to support our client base.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a massage therapist, masseur/masseuse, or in a similar role is preferred.
• Relevant massage therapy training or certification is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Pleasant, professional, and customer-oriented personality.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and respect clients' privacy.
• Physically fit and able to perform massage treatments for extended periods.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Responsibilities

• Perform body massage treatments according to the client's needs and the services offered by the company.
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences, concerns, and treatment requirements.
• Apply appropriate massage techniques safely and professionally.
• Ensure clients are comfortable before, during, and after each treatment.
• Maintain proper hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation of the treatment room, equipment, and work area.
• Prepare the treatment room and necessary supplies before each appointment.
• Maintain professional standards of conduct, appearance, and personal hygiene at all times.
• Monitor clients' responses during treatments and adjust techniques where appropriate.
• Provide basic after-treatment care instructions and recommendations where applicable.
• Handle client enquiries professionally and provide courteous customer service.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments and client information where required.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, health and safety requirements, and service standards.
• Ensure all massage treatments are performed within the therapist's training, qualifications, and scope of practice.
• Report any client concerns, incidents, equipment issues, or other matters to the supervisor or management promptly.
• Attend training and development sessions to improve technical skills and service quality.
