What you will do

As a Sourcing Lead in the Knowledge Services team, you will execute complex and strategic sourcing projects across categories/sub-categories. Responsibilities include translating business requirements into clear Statements of Work, soliciting bids, and leading auctions. We seek candidates with 5-8 years of relevant purchasing or supply chain experience, strong project management skills, and specific category experience (e.g., MRO, Capex, Professional services, food ingredients). Team management experience is required.

• Execute complex and strategic sourcing projects, including translating business needs into Statements of Work, soliciting bids, and leading auctions.
• Prepare negotiation scripts, negotiate with suppliers, make recommendations, onboard, qualify, and contract with new vendors, ensuring compliance.
• Apply and translate business expertise to develop innovative strategies that impact clients' long-term positioning.
• Manage and optimize sourcing support activities while adhering to client standards. Provide input to enablement groups.
• Engage with internal and external partners to ensure decisions are aligned with organizational goals and support daily execution.
• Support project allocation, assist team members during kickoff, and share best practices.
• Monitor performance against SLAs, drive continuous improvement, and participate in recruitment.

What you should bring

• Minimum 5 years of sourcing and procurement experience (management consulting experience is a plus).
• Language proficiency in English, Malay, Chinese, or other languages is an advantage.
• Experience in direct procurement, preferably food ingredients, raw materials, etc.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients in the US and Europe, both face-to-face and via phone.
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently.
• Consultative skills, including industry best practices and cross-functional experience.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Hands-on sourcing experience, including e-Auctions, with expertise across multiple industries.
