Job description

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to the lowest total cost of ownership sourcing solutions for assigned commodities (Eg. Sheet Metal/ CNC Machining/ Cable/ Mechanical OTS)
• Experience in Managing a NPI Project Management (Project Management & Prioritization, Presentation, Problem Solving and Decision Making)
• Manage the localization project until FA passes and localized parts move to volume production.
• Support Business Units in the areas of: Resolving quality issues, generating material cost reductions, assisting in supplier delivery problems, and implementation of supply chain strategies
• Supplier Management Skills (Supplier Evaluation Capability, Supplier Development). Negotiation of supply side component contracts, purchase agreements & tooling awards.
• Manage Supplier business review, and work with Supplier Quality Engineering on qualifying new suppliers.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Able to be part of a cross-functional team in problem solving and resolution of operations issues effectively.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
