Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers for precision machining.
• Source components based on engineering drawings and BOM requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality departments for compliance.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and supply agreements.
• Conduct supplier audits and performance assessments.
• Support new product introduction and project transfer.
• Monitor and analyze material market trends and supply risks.
• Maintain supplier database and procurement documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance.

JD:

• Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers for precision machining, metal fabrication, and related materials.
• Source components based on engineering drawings, specifications, and BOM requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality departments to ensure supplier compliance with technical and quality standards.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and supply agreements to achieve cost reduction targets.
• Conduct supplier audits and performance assessments (on quality, delivery, and responsiveness).
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and project transfer by ensuring supplier readiness and capability.
• Monitor and analyze material market trends, lead times, and supply risks.
• Maintain supplier database and procurement documentation in ERP system.
• Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance, cost competitiveness, and delivery reliability.
• Ensure sourcing activities comply with Engtek’s corporate policies and ethical standards.
