Join us as a Sourcing Assistant Manager and take the lead in driving sourcing strategies, building key supplier partnerships, and securing the best deals for our business. If you’re independent, analytical, and thrive on negotiation, we want you on our team - especially if you bring experience from China, Thailand, Vietnam, or Indonesia!

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Research the market and attend trade fairs/exhibitions to find new suppliers and trends.
  2. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability.
  3. Run tender processes and ensure fair and proper supplier selection.
  4. Negotiate contracts and pricing to get the best deals.
  5. Manage supplier relationships and resolve issues when needed.
  6. Track supplier performance and help improve results.
  7. Analyze procurement costs and find ways to reduce spending.
  8. Develop sourcing plans that align with company goals.
  9. Follow industry trends to improve sourcing and cost efficiency.
  10. Work independently and report directly to the Regional GM.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain functions.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience in tendering, supplier management, and cost analysis.
  • Candidates from the People’s Republic of China (PRC) with strong sourcing networks and experience in Asia (e.g., China, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia) are encouraged to apply.
  • PRC candidates must hold Malaysian Permanent Resident (PR) status or a valid Malaysian work permit.
