Qualifications

• Post Graduate Diploma in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasonography.
• An additional Diploma/Degree in Medical Imaging is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for operating sonographic equipment independently.
• Handle daily operations of the sonographic room and equipment maintenance.

Job description

Possess special skills in ultrasonography & is qualified with clinical experience to provide diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound scanner. Responsible for acquiring images for illnesses and injuries diagnosis.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for operating sonographic equipment independently
• Responsible for the daily operations of the sonographic room, patients' schedule, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assurance (QA)
• Performs all requested sonographic examinations for patients in accordance with the orders by the attending Physicians
• Uses independent judgment during sonographic examination to accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIFICATIONS:

• Post Graduate Diploma in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasonography
• An additional Diploma/Degree in Medical Imaging is an added advantage
• Compliance with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements for specialty as appropriate
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified
• Fresh graduates are also welcomed to apply
