What Will You Build

About the Role:

A Pre-Sales Solutions Architect is the technical expert and trusted advisor for potential customers, guiding them through specifying applications on the Builder.ai platform.

They play a key role in accurately specifying customer applications to ensure Builder.ai can deliver on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the Builder.ai platform, including its features, building blocks, delivery processes, tools, partner offerings, and underlying technology. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in the composable software space.
  • Engage with potential customers to understand their business challenges, requirements, and desired outcomes through calls and meetings.
  • Translate customer requirements into Buildcards and Journeys, identifying appropriate features and integrations, leveraging Builder.ai's AI-powered approach for efficient app creation.
  • Identify delivery and commercial risks from complex requirements and propose solutions to mitigate them.
  • Contribute to proposals and RFP responses with technical details, solution architectures, and plans.
  • Advise customers on scoping and phasing delivery to maximize their value.
  • Collaborate with sales, architecture, and product teams to identify opportunities, qualify leads, and ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Guide customers through proof-of-concept projects to validate solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships as a trusted advisor.
  • Stay informed about market trends and Builder.ai’s evolving platform and services.

Research customer industries to tailor solutions effectively.

- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field is preferred. A strong understanding of software development principles and technologies is essential.

- Familiarity with composable software concepts, modular architectures, APIs, and integrations is highly desirable. Experience with Cloud Computing, ERP, HR, CRM platforms, Security Architecture, AI, ML, IoT, and related technologies is a plus.

- Exceptional communication, listening, and presentation skills are crucial for conveying technical information clearly to diverse audiences.

- Ability to work collaboratively with customers, partners, and internal teams to craft compelling propositions.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills are necessary to address customer needs effectively.

- Prior experience in customer-facing roles like sales engineering, consulting, or product development is highly valuable. Building rapport and trust with customers is essential. Experience with CRM tools is a plus.
