Job description

This role will drive the design, architecture and ongoing enablement of enterprise Generative AI capabilities across workplace and developer productivity.

The Solutions Architect will work across enterprise GenAI platforms, models, APIs, developer tools, assistants and emerging agent capabilities, translating business use cases into secure, supportable and economically sustainable enterprise patterns.

You will own architecture across the capability lifecycle—from assessment and proof of concept through security and governance review, technical onboarding, production readiness, feature enablement and ongoing evolution. This includes identity and access, network and security controls, data-handling requirements, integrations, usage telemetry, cost management and operational support.

A key part of the role is connecting rapidly evolving vendor capabilities with Experian’s enterprise environment. New GenAI functionality frequently requires assessment and coordinated changes across identity, endpoint, network, security, risk and support teams before it can be made available at enterprise scale.

You will work independently to drive architecture decisions and technical progress while partnering closely across product vendors, Security, Risk, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, engineering teams, technology leadership and business stakeholders.

Summary of Primary Responsibilities

Review and assess GenAI use cases and recommend the appropriate enterprise capability, platform, model or architecture based on business value, security, data requirements, user experience and cost.

Maintain an enterprise GenAI capability and architecture roadmap spanning conversational AI, desktop experiences, APIs, developer and coding assistants, enterprise integrations, custom assistants and emerging agent capabilities.

Assess new and evolving vendor capabilities and translate roadmap changes into Experian architecture, control and product decisions.

Define architecture and technical requirements for onboarding GenAI tools and capabilities across the lifecycle from assessment and proof of concept through production readiness and general availability.

Lead the technical enablement of new GenAI features and capabilities, identifying and coordinating required changes across identity, endpoint, network, security, configuration and support environments.

Establish repeatable enablement patterns so approved capabilities can move efficiently from vendor availability through enterprise assessment, technical implementation, testing, release and support.

Define identity and lifecycle requirements including SSO, SCIM, RBAC, entitlement management, provisioning standards, API-key ownership, service access and deprovisioning.

Define security, connectivity and data-handling requirements across web, desktop, API and developer experiences, translating privacy, legal, regulatory and risk requirements into practical technical controls.

Model cost, capability and productivity trade-offs across GenAI platforms and recommend product positioning to manage consumption, reduce unnecessary overlap and avoid tool sprawl.

Investigate complex cross-platform issues affecting GenAI adoption and distinguish vendor-product limitations from enterprise configuration, security, identity or infrastructure issues.

Partner with Risk, Legal, Privacy, Compliance and Security to develop approval artifacts, control requirements, architecture evidence, risk mitigations and operating standards.

Engage directly with major GenAI technology partners and internal engineering teams to understand emerging capabilities, validate enterprise applicability and shape Experian’s adoption strategy.

What your background looks like

7–12+ years of experience in solutions, platform or enterprise architecture, including ownership of technology onboarding and technical governance in a large or regulated enterprise.

Hands-on experience with enterprise GenAI platforms and the architectures that support them. Experience with platforms such as ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude Enterprise or comparable enterprise AI services is strongly preferred.

Experience architecting multiple GenAI consumption patterns, including web applications, desktop applications, APIs, developer and coding tools, enterprise connectors, assistants and agent capabilities.

Demonstrated experience taking new SaaS or cloud capabilities from vendor release through enterprise assessment, technical enablement, testing and production rollout.

Strong understanding of enterprise identity and lifecycle patterns including SSO, SCIM, RBAC, provisioning, entitlement management and API or service credentials.

Working knowledge of enterprise network and security controls relevant to SaaS and GenAI platforms, including DLP, proxy, certificate and TLS inspection, network restrictions and application allowlisting.

Experience translating security, privacy, risk, legal and compliance requirements into implementable architecture and technical controls.

Understanding of consumption-based technology economics, usage telemetry and FinOps principles, with the ability to connect platform consumption to measurable business value.

Strong architecture documentation skills, including capability maps, reference architectures, decision records, target-state designs and production-readiness criteria.

Ability to work independently, take ownership of ambiguous and rapidly evolving problems, and drive work from initial assessment through decision and implementation.

Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across engineering, security, infrastructure, risk, legal, compliance, vendors and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise capabilities.

Ability to operate comfortably between strategic and hands-on work—from senior governance discussions and vendor roadmap sessions to resolving technical blockers with engineering teams.

Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain complex GenAI architecture decisions clearly to technical teams, business stakeholders and senior leaders.
