Job summary

Global Business Services in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced SAP specialist to lead data migration and FI/CO support within a dynamic service operations team.

You will drive process improvements, resolve issues, and collaborate across borders to deliver customer-centric service while adapting to evolving SAP platforms.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in service operations/ service management.
• 4–6 years experience in SAP FI/CO in Data Migration and Functional Supports.
• 4–6 years experience in SAP implementation projects / Consulting will be an added advantage.
• Ability to detect, surface and resolve conflicts and creation of a positive climate for nurturing team spirit; teamwork.
• Minimum 2 years required for cross border service delivery.

Responsibilities

• You’ll create impact with SAP expertise in FI/CO migration and functional supports.
• Assist in data migration activities focusing on Finance and Controlling.
• Execute and support data migration activities for SAP platforms.
• Review process performance in GBS and identify areas for improvement.
• Delegate technical requests to appropriate support personnel to ensure timely resolution.
• Provide first level support to GBS staff and customers.

You’ll create impact with:

• SAP Expertise: Possesses strong knowledge in SAP FI/CO Migration & Functional Supports along with SAP implementation projects.
• Efficient Execution: Consistently performs tasks with high efficiency and quality, adhering to all company and customer guidelines.
• Customer-Centric Service: Maintains a strong focus on service delivery with a customer-centric approach.
• Data Migration Execution: Execute and assist in data migration activities, focusing on Finance, Controlling, and related objects.
• Process Improvement Driver: Actively implements continuous service improvements using a data-driven, KPI-based methodology.
• Adaptable & Engaged: Readily implements new processes and participates in relevant training and development programs.
• Assist the team in trouble shooting and provide first level support to the GBS staff and to the customers
• Manage and resolve application related queries (including investigation, follow up, issue resolution for customers' queries)
• Review the performance of the processes in GBS and recommend and follow up on the areas of improvement.
• Delegate technical requests to relevant technical support personnel and ensure that issues are being resolved timely (support)
• Execute & Assist in the data migration activities for the companies which are adopting the new SAP platform

You excel in:

• Typically 4-6 years of experience within service operations/ service management area (in 2 or more business processes/ areas) or country/ cluster, sector/ cross sector or corporate unit.
• 4-6 years experience in SAP FI/CO in Data Migration and Functional Supports
• 4-6 years experience in SAP implementation projects / Consulting will be an added advantage
• Ability to detect, surface and resolve conflicts and creation of a positive climate for nurturing team spirit; teamwork.
• Minimum 2 years required for cross border service delivery
