About the job Solution Architect / Presales Engineer

The position plays an important role in the IT business division by providing technical solution advice and support to the frontline business team. You will work closely with the internal team and customers to understand the project needs and propose suitable solutions in areas such as OS systems, networks, security, or any respective area.

Your responsibilities will include solution mapping & qualifying, coordinating product demonstrations, preparing technical proposals, and addressing customer queries regarding our products and services. You will also educate the internal team on new upcoming technology solutions offered in the latest market.

You will collaborate with the business team together with principal partners to develop effective business strategies and contribute to achieving project objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Telecommunications) or equivalent
  • Experience in a network, system, technical sales, or presales role within the IT/Technology industry
  • Strong understanding and interest in the areas of IT infrastructure, networking, virtualization, IoT, Cybersecurity, and cloud computing technologies
  • Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to understand customer requirements and incorporate them into technical solutions
  • Experience with solution pitching and crafting tailored proposals to meet customer needs
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Possess skills for managing prospect engagements and knowledge sharing effectively
  • Relevant certification is a plus
  • Minimum 2-4 years of working experience in IT or other technology fields

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the business team to understand customer requirements, perform case studies, and propose appropriate IT solutions.
  • Conduct solution mapping, deliverable information, and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our products and services.
  • Prepare technical proposals, including solution designs, bills of material, and implementation plans.
  • Perform internal technological skill transfer to the internal technical support team for the latest IT solutions available.
  • Work closely with product development and technical teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and product capabilities.
  • Assist in responding to the solution design aspect of RFPs (Requests for Proposals).
  • Act as a technical advisor to the internal business and technical team.
  • Work closely with product partners by staying updated on the latest industry trends and technology offerings to effectively position our solutions in the market.
