Job Description: Solution Architect, Prefabricated Data Center

The modular Data Centers segment has experienced significant growth. Our Prefabricated Data Center Line of Business integrates Schneider products into modular enclosures, tests systems in the factory, and delivers solutions worldwide.

Role Overview: PreFab Solution Architect

You will work on medium to high complexity projects, supporting early sales stages by providing expertise on Schneider's system and architecture platform. Your goal is to understand customer requirements and demonstrate how tested, validated architecture designs can meet their needs and provide a competitive advantage, especially in Data Center Systems and Prefabricated Modular Data Centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand customer segment-specific challenges, needs, and constraints to propose optimal solutions.
  • Support sales teams and customers as a trusted advisor, leveraging Schneider Electric's full portfolio.
  • Define, customize, and create Tested, Validated & Documented Architectures (TVDA) to meet customer requirements and add value.
  • Assist in establishing solution strategies and best practices.
  • Review RFQs, create compliance and deviation lists, and influence RFQ specifications.
  • Develop technical proposals for commercial bids.
  • Coordinate internally with business units during tendering.
  • Engage with clients and development teams to recommend solutions and present them for validation.
  • Stay updated on technological developments to enhance solutions.
  • Promote technological solutions and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum five years of experience in Data Center industry, including power, cooling, and electrical/mechanical installations.
  • Certified in Uptime and/or Data Center Dynamics or equivalent experience.
  • Previous customer-facing experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in multicultural teams.
  • Knowledge of UPS, electrical panels, MV equipment, cooling units, etc.
  • Proficiency with tools like Uninet, SE Design Portal, and BIM (REVIT).
