Job summary

Salt Digital Recruitment is partnering with a global technology consulting and software company to hire a Solution Architect in Malaysia. The role focuses on helping enterprise customers with cloud transformation goals and technical challenges, from discovery to delivery.

You will lead workshops, present solutions to executives, and collaborate with sales, delivery teams, and cloud partners (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Qualifications

• Proven experience in solution or cloud architecture in customer-facing roles.
• Experience guiding enterprise customers through cloud adoption or transformation initiatives.
• Ability to present technical solutions to executives and stakeholders.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

We’re partnering with a global technology consulting and software company that’s expanding across Southeast Asia and is looking for an experienced Solution Architect to help establish and grow its presence in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Partner with enterprise customers to understand their cloud transformation goals and technical challenges.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, solution workshops, and product demonstrations.
• Work closely with the sales team to develop solution strategies and support new business opportunities.
• Engage with cloud ecosystem partners including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Present technical solutions to both business and technical stakeholders.
• Stay involved after project kickoff by providing technical oversight and maintaining strong customer relationships throughout delivery.
• Help build and grow the local solution architecture practice as the business expands.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Cloud Architect, Enterprise Architect, or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Experience working with enterprise customers on cloud adoption or transformation initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Ability to confidently present technical solutions to customers and executive stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working in a pre-sales environment and partnering closely with sales teams.
• A proactive, hands‑on approach with the ability to operate independently while collaborating with regional and global teams.
