Solution Architect

SymphonyAI Financial Services is a global leader in innovative software for regulatory compliance, fraud and financial crime detection, investigation and reporting. The company offers financial crime, risk management, and fraud detection and prevention solutions across banking, financial markets, and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end AI-driven solutions, leveraging cloud platforms, data pipelines, and machine learning frameworks tailored to client requirements. Ensure consistency with specified functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Work closely with clients to understand business goals, gather requirements, and translate them into scalable technical architectures.
• Lead the hands‑on implementation and deployment of AI models, ensuring seamless integration with client systems and real‑world environments.
• Provide technical guidance to cross‑functional teams throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept through deployment and maintenance.
• Provide direction and leadership to technical teams when targeting major opportunities and developing associated proposals, supporting key accounts requiring sophisticated, innovative, and integrated business solutions.
• Collaborate with the Business Development team to build technical patterns for common problems.
• Own and manage technical and solution risks, continuously working to reduce and mitigate risks swiftly and practically.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging AI trends, tools, and deployment strategies to keep solutions innovative and competitive.
• Oversee and assure the implementation of the design in collaboration with System and Software Designers.
• Work with quality and test management functions to ensure proposed test strategies and approaches are fit‑for‑purpose.
• Act as an expert resource for Delivery Assurance functions to address solution quality or progress issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A broad range of technical skills and knowledge of working on fin‑crime and regtech products as a solutions architect.
• 10+ years in software application domain and 5+ years of architecture/design experience.
• Strong problem‑solving and diagnostic skills.
• Demonstrated adaptability to change and a strong ability to learn new concepts quickly.
• Experience with API integration technologies such as REST and GraphQL.
• Experience with big‑data technologies such as Spark and Kafka.
• Experience with Kubernetes for debugging.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Hands‑on experience with modern deployment tools (e.g., GitHub, GitHub Actions, Helm, Docker) and practices.
• Hands‑on experience with forward deployment engineering, including model operationalization (MLOps), CI/CD, and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency with AI/ML frameworks.
• Experience working on application servers such as JBoss, WebSphere, WildFly.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering AI‑driven projects from concept to production.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and fast‑paced deployment cycles.
