Powertrack Sdn Bhd seeks an O&M Technician to manage electrical systems and civil works in our solar PV plant, ensuring regulatory compliance and optimal system health.

You will inspect, maintain, and diagnose LV and DC components, supervise contractor works, and prepare detailed operation reports. The role requires flexibility for emergencies, weekends, and relocation to suitable sites in Penang or nearby areas.

Competenze

• 1 year of experience with low voltage electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of LV installation wiring.
• Strong electrical theory and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with Electricity Supply Act 1990 and regulations.
• Valid Chargeman A0/A1 certificate from Energy Commission (ST).
• Good computer literacy.
• Willing to relocate to Batu Gajah, Kerian or Penang.
• Strong Bahasa Malaysia and English communication skills.
• Physically fit and available for weekend/public holiday work if required.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.

Mansioni

• Responsible for all electrical systems and civil works in the solar PV plant to ensure regulatory compliance and system health.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on solar PV systems including DC and LV components and connections.
• Attend to electrical breakdowns related to solar PV systems, diagnose faults and take corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation and records for maintenance activities and warranty claims.
• Supervise contractor works related to solar PV systems and ensure quality control.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual operating reports on production, efficiency, availability, maintenance, outages, and warranty services.
• Coordinate with authorities and vendors on solar PV system issues and warranty/product quality.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and tools and assist project execution during/after installation.
• Provide 24-hour emergency support and adapt to Hari Raya and public holidays when required.
