Job summary

Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad is seeking an experienced electrician with a background in solar PV systems. You will handle low and medium voltage electrical equipment, perform scheduled maintenance, and support interconnection facilities.

You should have a Diploma/Certificate or equivalent, with at least 3 years in the solar PV industry, and be proficient in reading technical specs and construction documents. Strong communication skills are essential for this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate or equivalent practical experience.
• Engineering degree/diploma preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in the solar PV industry.
• Ability to read technical specifications and construction documents.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance during construction, installation, maintenance and repair of plant electrical equipment.
• Maintain solar plant equipment at optimal level and ensure scheduled maintenance is carried out.
• Check fault conditions of equipment and solar arrays, repair and replace components as needed.
• Lay and connect lines and clean solar photovoltaic modules.
• Coordinate with operation & maintenance time, carry out regular inspection and maintenance.
• Analyze abnormal status of product functionality.
• Responsible for documentation and maintenance reports.
