Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Solar PV Technician to support construction, installation, maintenance and repair of plant electrical equipment. You will work onsite to keep solar arrays performing at peak efficiency and follow scheduled maintenance.

You'll diagnose faults, replace damaged components, clean PV modules, coordinate with operations, document maintenance activities, and help ensure safety and compliance across the solar plant.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum working experience in the solar PV industry designing solar arrays and solar plant O&M.
• Diploma/Certificate or engineering degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Experience reading and understanding technical specifications and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance during construction, installation, maintenance and repair of plant electrical equipment.
• Maintain the solar plant equipment at the optimal level and ensure the scheduled and routine maintenance is carried out as per schedule.
• Check the fault conditions of various equipment and solar PV arrays, and repair and replace damaged components and circuits as and when needed.
• Lay and connect the lines and clean the solar photovoltaic modules.
• Coordinate with the operation & maintenance time, carry out regular inspection and maintenance.
• Analyze the abnormal status of product functionality.
• Responsible for the documentation and management of maintenance reports.
