Job description

We are looking for a passionate and proactive Solar Project Engineer (PV) to be part of our team. The candidate would have able to work independently to accomplish our projects.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years experience in solar PV projects. Must provide a proven portfolio.

AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, Microsoft Project/Excel, understanding of Malaysia solar PV regulatory frameworks (SEDA, ST, TNB).

Willing to travel across Malaysia for site supervision.

Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese preferred.

Strong leadership, project coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

Design solar PV systems using AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, and prepare SLD, layout drawings, BOMs.

Design and integrate off-grid systems, including battery storage, inverters, and hybrid configurations.

Monitor site installation, enforce technical compliance, quality, and safety standards, and coordinate with EPC contractors.

Review and verify contractor/consultant designs to ensure alignment with project requirements and local regulations.

Work closely with TNB, SEDA, consultants, and internal teams to ensure timely submission and approval of technical documentation.

Lead the testing & commissioning process of completed systems and provide O&M handover documentation.
