Job summary

Solarvest Holdings Bhd. is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to manage resources planning and scheduling for corrective and preventive maintenance on solar PV projects in Malaysia.

The role includes fault diagnosis of electrical breakdowns, verification of Works by Technicians/Contractors, and preparation of technical reports. Responsibilities extend to monitoring system performance, cost estimation, and coordinating with Sales, Project, and Procurement.

Qualifications

• 2 years working experience in electrical installations or maintenance of solar PV projects.
• Bachelor's degree/post graduate diploma/professional degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Solar PV system design; PVSyst is a plus.
• Electrical theory and troubleshooting skills.
• Analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills.
• Good communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Manage resources planning and schedule arrangement for maintenance.
• Attend electrical breakdowns related to solar PV systems; diagnose and fix faults.
• Verify works by Technicians/Contractors; ensure quality and standards.
• Provide technical reports for breakdowns and maintenance actions.
• Monitor system performance and produce statistical reports.
• Prepare cost estimates and design for projects.
• Determine project schedules by studying plans and specifications.
• Liaise with Sales, Project, and Procurement; provide technical support.
• Review QA/QC before Testing & Commissioning; ensure standards.
• Maintain safe, clean working environment; enforce regulations.
