Job summary

A solar energy company located in Johor Bahru is seeking a qualified Solar PV Technician to manage maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in solar PV operations, strong electrical knowledge, and certification as an Electrical Supervisor is preferred. Responsibilities include supervising Technicians, conducting quality inspections, managing documentation, and ensuring efficient system performance. Candidates must be skilled in both Bahasa Malaysia and English and possess a valid driving license.

Qualifications

• 2 years of working experience as Solar PV O&M Technician or similar.
• Knowledge of Electricity Supply Act 1990 and Electricity Regulations 1994.
• Certified Electrical Supervisor by Energy Commission (ST) is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage schedule arrangements for maintenance of solar PV systems.
• Review daily work and maintenance progress by Technicians.
• Conduct QA & QC inspections during project execution.
• Produce statistical performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment legislation.
