About the role

As a Solar Installer & Supervisor at SOUTHERN SOLAR PV ENERGY SDN. BHD., you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. This full-time position is based in Johor Bahru, Johor, and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of renewable energy in the region.

What you'll be doing

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot solar PV systems and associated electrical components
• Supervise and coordinate the work of installation teams to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance on solar PV systems to optimise performance and identify any issues
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide technical advice and support
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry best practices
• Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative solar PV solutions

What we're looking for

• Relevant experience in the installation and maintenance of solar PV systems, preferably within the electrical/electronic engineering industry
• Strong technical skills and understanding of solar PV system components, electrical systems, and installation best practices
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Good communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with installation teams and clients
• Certification or training in solar PV installation and safety procedures is highly desirable
