Job summary

Finsmart Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a software tester to validate core business systems for Hong Kong and US stock brokerage services, including trading, account management, and back-office modules. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software testing experience.
• 2+ years testing Hong Kong and US stock brokerage systems and mobile apps.
• Proficient in end-to-end software testing.
• SQL proficiency and API testing with JMeter and Postman.
• Python scripting is an advantage.
• Familiar with brokerage operations and exchange integrations.
• Able to support production releases and go-live activities.
• Securities industry qualification or certification preferred.

Job description

Responsible for testing core business systems for Hong Kong and US stock brokerage services, including the app, trading, account management, margin financing, clearing and settlement, and back-office management systems.

Participate in requirement reviews and independently develop test plans and test cases; execute functional, API, integration, and regression testing.

Monitor release testing and participate in go-live readiness reviews to ensure release quality.

Maintain simulation testing environments and test data.

Develop and maintain API automation test scripts.

Reproduce production incidents and conduct regression testing to verify fixes.

Monitor changes in global regulatory and business rules, identify testing risks associated with system modifications, and ensure compliance.

Requirements:

3–5 years of software testing experience. Candidates with at least 2 years of experience testing Hong Kong and US stock brokerage systems and mobile applications are preferred.

Familiar with the end-to-end software testing process.

Proficient in SQL and experienced in API testing tools such as JMeter and Postman.

Python scripting skills are an advantage.

Familiarity with brokerage business operations and exchange integrations is preferred.

Able to provide testing and technical support during production releases and go-live activities.
