Overview

What you will be doing?

Key Responsibilities

• Test Execution
  • Perform various types of testing (functional, regression, usability, performance, security, UAT support).
  • Execute manual or automated test cases.
  • Record and document test results.
• Defect Tracking & Reporting
  • Log defects in defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Work with developers to reproduce, debug, and verify fixes.
  • Provide clear, detailed bug reports.
• Quality Reporting
  • Prepare test summary reports.
  • Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to project managers and stakeholders.
• Collaboration
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other QA team members.
• Continuous Improvement
  • Suggest improvements to testing processes, tools, and workflows.
  • Stay updated with QA methodologies and tools.

Qualifications

• Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Min 3 years of working experience is preferred. Fresh graduates will be considered.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Experience with manual testing (functional, regression, exploratory).
• Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, etc.).
• Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum practices.
• Knowledge of test automation tools: Selenium, Katalon.
• Familiarity with REST API testing (Postman).
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in testing Web and Android applications.
• Attention to detail and critical thinking, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Malaysian citizen.
