- Job is fully based in IPOH.
- Lead, build, maintain, inspire, and develop a scrum development team.
- Deliver solutions according to the innovation roadmap with your scrum team.
- Manage all software quality issues related to development, integration, testing, and performance of applications, and act as a point of escalation in related fields.
- Ensure software is developed according to standards and recommended designs.
- Execute the technology strategy in specific areas or products to support the business and technology strategy.
- Cover a specific technical domain as the key responsibility.
- Day-to-day people engagement: attendance and absenteeism, team meetings and communication, leave management, expense claim approval.
- Performance management: setting team objectives and reviews, regular check-ins and feedback dialogues, formal award check-in performance discussions, handling of PIP, salary reviews.
- Learning and development: identify learning needs and create learning plans, conduct career aspiration dialogues, and support personal development.
This = what you bring:
Experience: Minimum of 7 years in .NET development.
Technical Skills:
- Strong experience in web development using C# or VB.Net, .NET or .NET framework, JavaScript (native and/or frameworks), MS SQL Server.
- Proficiency in unit testing and performing code reviews.
- Solid understanding of clean code principles and SOLID design principles.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, with performance tuning experience being a plus.
- Experience with web service APIs such as REST and WCF/SOAP.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, including source control and CI/CD pipelines.
Methodologies:
- Familiarity with Scrum and Agile product development methodologies.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
- Proactive and able to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Ability to create and foster a team environment that encourages initiative, creativity, people development and achievement of goals.
