Job summary

A leading engineering company in Malaysia is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to implement and oversee project executions, procure materials, and provide technical support. This role requires a relevant degree and a minimum of 3 years' experience, specifically in electronics and automation sectors. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge in various programming languages and experience with PLC systems, as well as documentation and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality system is an advantage.

Implement and execute projects assigned by the Senior Engineer, Staff Engineer, or Manager.

Procure materials needed for projects.

Provide training and technical support when required.

Document the project or equipment operation and specifications.

Prepare and update product documentation.

Perform automation software development, electrical and electronics installation, required tests/debugging, and/or assembly.

Conduct research and development in related fields and practice new technology after sufficient study and assessment.

Carry out standard product development when necessary.

Mentor and assist subordinates, peers, and customers as needed.

Familiarity with Visual Basic, C/C++, MFC, MS Windows environment, multitasking, network programming, and robot integration is advantageous.

Knowledge of electronics/electrical circuit designing and robotics systems is required.

Experience with PLC-based systems, such as machine sequence, speed performance, and stability, is a plus.

Knowledge of ISO9001 quality system for design control is an advantage.

Experience with OMRON PLC Ethercat, MS Windows environment, multitasking, network programming, and robot integration is beneficial.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Software, Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.

Preferably with experience in contract manufacturing or industrial automation.
