Job summary

Guidewire Basecamp invites final-year Computer Science or IT students to a six-month internship in Kuala Lumpur (Jan–Jun 2027). You will support enterprise software implementations for global P&C insurers, collaborating with consultants and developers while gaining hands-on experience in software engineering, agile delivery, cloud technologies, data, and AI/ML.

You’ll learn by doing, contribute to customer success, and help deliver technology that transforms the insurance industry.

Qualifications

• Final-year student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT.
• Foundational and advanced programming knowledge in Java, C#, or C++.
• Awareness of object-oriented design principles.
• Exposure to cloud concepts, such as AWS.
• Academic or personal projects in software engineering, data, or AI/ML is helpful.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support software implementation projects for global insurance clients with teams.
• Contribute to enterprise software development and agile delivery activities.
• Apply programming and design concepts to tasks.
• Learn technologies including cloud platforms, data, AI/ML, APIs, and web services.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Engage in Guidewire Basecamp internship events.
