Job summary

Spruson & Ferguson in Malaysia is seeking a Software Engineer to support digital strategy through application development, database management and DevOps automation, collaborating with teams across Singapore and Australia. You will write SQL queries, develop web apps, create views and procedures, and maintain existing systems while adopting SCRUM and SDLC practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma or tertiary qualification in IT or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and hands-on SCRUM experience.
• Experience with one of: TSQL, C# .NET, ASP.NET, Rest API.

Responsibilities

• Write optimized SQL queries for integration with other applications.
• Involvement in application and web development and for the firm’s digital strategy.
• Create views, functions, and stored procedures.
• Maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries.
• Maintain and upgrade existing applications.
• Write DevOps and Automation Code/Scripts.
• Provide timely updates for production status and progress of issue resolution.
• Ensure all internal processes and procedures are adhered to.
