Job summary

Spruson & Ferguson Malaysia is hiring a Software Engineer to support the firm’s digital strategy through application development, database management and DevOps automation. You will work with teams in Singapore and Australia to deliver integrated solutions.

The role requires a Diploma in IT/CS, strong SDLC and SCRUM experience, web languages (JavaScript, CSS, HTML), and proficiency in TSQL, C#/.NET, ASP.NET and REST APIs. ReactJS and BI tools like Power BI are a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in IT/CS or related field.
• Solid SDLC knowledge and SCRUM experience.
• Web languages: JavaScript, CSS, HTML.
• Experience with TSQL, C#/.NET, ASP.NET, Rest API.
• Experience with ReactJS is a plus.
• Familiarity with BI tools like Power BI/SSIS/SSRS/SSAS.

Responsibilities

• Write optimized SQL queries for integration with other apps.
• Participate in application and web development for digital strategy.
• Create views, functions and stored procedures.
• Maintain and upgrade SQL queries and apps.
• Write DevOps and automation scripts.
• Provide timely production status updates.
• Ensure internal processes and procedures are followed.
