Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or engineering (software/biomedical/mechanical/mechatronics) or equivalent.
• 2+ years of Python software development experience.
• Proficient in Python with solid development principles and design patterns.

As a Software Development Engineer (Python), you will:

Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of Python-based software solutions, ensuring code quality and maintainability.

Collaborate with senior developers, testers, and other team members to deliver technical solutions aligned with project requirements.

Assist in the design and development of 3D modeling and CAD-related functionalities, working to ensure precision and innovation.

Support the design and optimization of algorithms for software functionality, particularly for 3D modeling and data processing.

Participate in R&D initiatives, learning and exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance software performance and capabilities.

Write clean, reusable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, working closely with team members to develop debugging and problem-solving strategies.

Collaborate with stakeholders to stay aligned with project goals and timelines.

Contribute to improving team workflows and development processes to enhance collaboration and efficiency.

Stay informed about advancements in Python development, 3D modeling, and CAD technologies, applying them where relevant to improve solutions.

Your Profile:

A graduate with at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Software, Biomedical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or equivalent), or a related field.

With over 2 years of experience in Python software development.

Proficient in Python programming, with a solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.

A team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, eager to learn and share knowledge with colleagues.

Knowledgeable in Agile development methodologies and comfortable working in cross-functional teams.

Analytical and detail-oriented, with solid debugging and problem-solving skills.

Equipped with good communication and organizational skills, capable of contributing to team alignment and project success.

Plus Points:

Have experience working with products in R&D, Medical, CAD, or 3D Printing Industry-related fields.

Are familiar with Azure DevOps or similar tools for work tracking and CI/CD pipelines.

Have knowledge of Generative AI (GenAI) technologies and their potential applications in software development.

Possess experience in performance optimization, particularly for 3D or CAD-related software.

Hold relevant certifications in software development or Agile methodologies.
