Job summary

FINEXUS SDN BHD is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of software applications powering FINEXUS products. You will work across Front-end, Back-end, Mobile, and Database technologies to deliver scalable, secure solutions aligned with business needs.

You will collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to analyze requirements, implement robust software, and participate in testing, debugging, and optimization activities.

About the Role

The Software Engineer is responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software applications across Front-end, Back-end, Mobile, and Database technologies.

This role requires strong technical capability, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You will work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions aligned with business and customer requirements.

Provide technical support and maintenance for software applications and systems.

Perform debugging, testing, and performance optimization activities.

Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to understand project requirements and deliver solutions effectively.

Participate actively in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Contribute to the overall software development lifecycle and team objectives.

Security & Compliance

Apply software security best practices to reduce vulnerabilities and system risks.

Ensure developed applications comply with internal standards, policies, and security requirements.

Key Requirements

Academic Qualification

Experience

0 – 2 years of hands-on experience in software development.

Experience in Front-end, Back-end, Mobile, or Database development.

Familiarity with software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting practices.

Experience with version control systems and project management tools is an advantage.

Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Knowledge of software architecture, application development, and database concepts.

Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software applications.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
