Orangeleaf Consulting is hiring Software Developers to work on enterprise applications using the Mendix Low-Code Platform. You will receive training to upgrade from traditional coding to low-code, with growth paths toward consultancy and management positions.

Projects are delivered on-site at clients' offices with international travel required. You will join a young, ambitious team leveraging cutting-edge technology to deliver fast, innovative solutions and help customers stay competitive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Business IT management.
• 1–5 years of software development experience.
• Excellent English and Japanese (N2) communication.

We develop complex enterprise applications at lightning speed without writing code, utilizing the Mendix Low-Code Platform by Siemens. We support enterprises in Southeast Asia in realizing their digital innovation goals by developing systems 10x faster than with traditional tools.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for developing innovative systems that help our customers compete on the global market using Mendix. You will receive training to upgrade your skills from traditional coding to low-code. Growth opportunities include paths towards consultancy and management positions. Projects are generally executed on-site at clients' offices and international travel will be required for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the Mendix Low-Code Development Platform to craft innovative applications tailored to client needs.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups to ensure project alignment and progress.
• Define comprehensive functional and technical software requirements to ensure clarity and alignment with project objectives.
• Conduct rigorous testing and provide ongoing maintenance for applications to uphold performance and reliability standards.
• Cultivate deep insights into clients' businesses and industries, leveraging this understanding to identify and capitalize on new opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Foster strong client relationships through clear and effective communication, collaborating closely with both clients and superiors to achieve project success.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in software development and propose innovative solutions to improve our products and processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably in Software Engineering or Business IT management · Between 1 and 5 years of experience in software development
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Japanese (N2)
• Experience with Scrum / Agile development methods
• Interested in working with Low-code technology (training will be provided)
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Independent and punctual for any appointments
• Eager to learn and driven to succeed
• Punctuality is a must
