You will work on SQL queries, database design, and backend development using Python and Flask/FastAPI, participate in API and UAT testing, and document results.

Assist in developing and improving internal web portal modules, including reporting, search, filtering, pagination and data export functions.
Develop and maintain SQL queries for operational reporting, billing data and transaction analysis.
Assist with database design, table relationships, data mapping and Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) documentation.
Support backend development and maintenance of internal applications using Python and Flask/FastAPI.
Participate in API, application and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including documenting test results and identified issues.
Assist in troubleshooting application, database and reporting issues under the guidance of the technical team.
Develop simple scripts or automation for reporting, data processing and repetitive operational tasks where applicable.
Document technical processes, database structures, system configurations, test results and application changes.
Perform other software engineering or IT-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
Available for at least 3-6 months internship (6 months preferred).
Basic programming knowledge, preferably Python, with willingness to learn Flask/FastAPI or a similar backend framework.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, including SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY and aggregate queries.
