Job summary

Dassault Systèmes in Malaysia is seeking a Software Engineer (Frontend) to contribute to the full software lifecycle and deliver robust, scalable web experiences. You will write tests, collaborate in an agile team, and mentor peers while staying current with new technologies to drive innovation.

This role requires a strong background in front-end development, architecture, and security, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a front-end developer.
• Solid understanding of web application architecture, design patterns, and security best practices with a passion for learning and staying up-to-date with technologies.

Job Description & Role Responsibilities:

• Write and automate comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance whilst staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and improve development processes.
• Collaborate effectively within an agile development team, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives while providing technical guidance, mentor team members, and make strategic decisions regarding technology choices and best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a front-end developer
• Demonstrate solid understanding of web application architecture, design patterns, and security best practices with a passion for learning and a drive to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies
