Orangeleaf Consulting is hiring Software Engineers who are looking for a challenge and enjoy working with the latest cutting-edge technology.

What do we do?

We develop complex enterprise applications rapidly without traditional coding, utilizing the Mendix Low-Code Platform by Siemens. We support enterprises in Southeast Asia in achieving their digital innovation goals by developing systems 10x faster than with conventional methods.

What is Mendix?

Mendix is the global leader in the low-code market, rapidly expanding across Europe, the US, and Asia, and being adopted by many businesses worldwide. Gartner predicts that by 2025, 70% of new enterprise applications will be developed using no-code or low-code technologies.

About the Role:

You will develop innovative systems that help our clients compete globally using Mendix. Training will be provided to upgrade your skills from traditional coding to low-code development. There are growth opportunities towards consultancy and management roles. Projects are mainly on-site at client offices, and international travel will be required.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the Mendix Low-Code Platform to develop tailored applications for clients.
• Participate in agile processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
• Define functional and technical requirements to ensure project clarity.
• Conduct testing and maintain applications to ensure performance and reliability.
• Gain deep insights into clients' businesses to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Build strong client relationships through effective communication.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Software Engineering or Business IT Management.
• 1 to 5 years of software development experience.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Experience with Scrum or Agile methodologies.
• Interest in low-code technology (training provided).
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Independent, punctual, and reliable.
• Eager to learn and succeed.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.

Preferred skills:

• Knowledge of React Native.
• Knowledge of Mendix platform.
