Job summary

Hannover Re Malaysia invites applications for a Software Engineer (Fullstack). You will develop, maintain and operate software products as part of a collaborative team, addressing technical issues and evolving the product with stakeholders.

The role requires strong web development skills (Angular), proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and Azure services, plus experience with DevOps tools and international teamwork. You will participate in iterations and reviews, delivering clear results.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or similar qualifications.
• Excellent knowledge of web development, ideally using Angular.
• Excellent knowledge of object-oriented software development, ideally using ASP.NET Core and .NET in C#.
• Solid experience in software architecture and the services available on Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency in common development IDEs and Git for source control.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps or similar DevOps tools and experience working in an international environment.
• A high degree of personal responsibility, the ability to work in a team, problem-solving skills and strong communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of agile working methods (e.g. Scrum and Kanban).
• Excellent English Proficiency. Demonstrates clarity and professionalism in both written and verbal communication.
• Strong Communication Skills. Able to clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborative Team Player. Promotes a positive work environment and fosters productive relationships in diverse, international teams.
• Proactive Problem-Solving. Focuses on innovation and efficiency when addressing technical and operational challenges.
