Software Engineer Intern

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in redesigning and restructuring the existing database to enhance operational efficiency and support business growth.
• Work closely with business analysts on creating clear and organized database schemas and diagrams, providing data & tech solutions for our core business groups and the organization.
• Assist in establishing and optimizing workflows connecting internal systems with external platforms like WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopee, Lazada, Meta, Google Ads, etc., to streamline sales processes.
• Support testing, deployment, and updates of our websites using WordPress and plugins to improve performance and engagement.
• Utilize Lark Anycross to develop and optimize business processes aligned with our strategic goals.
• Collaborate with the Performance Marketing Team to deploy analytics tools like Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, and implement Google UTM parameters for campaign tracking and insights.
• Support data structure enhancements within our internal systems to improve data organization, security, and visualization for strategic decisions.
• Assist in automating workflows and data cleaning in Google Sheets using Google Apps Script.
• Stay updated on technology trends and WordPress developments, providing technical support and guidance to non-technical team members.
• Work with marketing to assist in related duties and responsibilities.

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of programming basics (variables, loops, functions).
• Basic knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP.
• Understanding of website development principles; experience with WordPress is a plus.
• Able to quickly learn new tools and adapt to the evolving martech landscape.
• Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in Chinese & English, verbal and written.
• Eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to commute to Sri Petaling.
