Job summary

AirAsia is seeking a motivated Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Enterprise domain. You will design, develop, and maintain critical applications powering internal and external operations, collaborating with product managers and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable software solutions.

You will work with Node.js, React.js, Angular, C# (.NET), and Python, while applying best practices in code quality, security, and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 1–3 years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Node.js, React.js, Angular, C# (.NET), and Python.
• Solid understanding of Git and branching/merging strategies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and virtualization (Docker, VMware).
• DevOps mindset; Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift experience is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; excellent communication.

• Collaborate with product: Actively engage with the Product team to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
• Champion best practices: Implement and advocate for robust source code management strategies, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and efficient code reviews.
• Prioritize security and performance: Build secure, scalable, and high-performing applications by adhering to best practices and considering security and performance implications in every decision.

What You’ll Bring:

• Technical Proficiency: 1-3 years of experience in software engineering.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply!
• Proficiency in one or more of the following: Node.js, React.js, Angular, C# (.NET framework), and Python.
• Solid understanding of Git and branching/merging strategies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab, GitHub, TeamCity, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Nexus) is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies (e.g., Docker, VMware/vSphere).
• DevOps Mindset: Experience with Docker/Kubernetes/Openshift is a plus.
• Knowledge of application logging, monitoring, and performance management tools (e.g., AppDynamics, Dynatrace, New Relic).
• Experience with performance and load testing.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A passion for learning and continuous improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
