Department Overview

Designs and develops firmware for body-worn-cameras for law enforcement as well as commercial sectors. Opportunity for cross-site collaboration. The team promotes a happy and holistic work experience.

Job Description

  • Design, develop and maintain firmware for body-worn-camera, including requirement gathering, implementation, develop unit test and end-to-end verification.
  • Troubleshoot & debugging skills on embedded systems.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvement and cost savings, including streamlining development process and FW architecture in long run.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor / Master degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering. Having a EE background is a plus.
  • Experience in writing quality C or Modern C++ on Linux OS based embedded systems. Experience in Rust is a plus.
  • Experience in the Linux build system. Familar with Yocto is a plus.
  • Kknowledge in writing low level programming for HW peripherals and drivers.
  • Knowledge on networking protocols / connectivity, such as Wifi, Bluetooth, used with embedded systems.
  • Knowledge in camera linux embedded system is a plus.
  • Knowledge in ONVIF, camera controller, camera imaging pipeline is a plus.
  • Good in written in English and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Desire to learn.
  • A team player.
