JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

OVERALL OBJECTIVE / BASIC FUNCTION:

Responsibilities-

• Design, build, assemble, and configure application or technical architecture components using business requirements
• Build and leverage reusable code and libraries for future use
• Optimize performance, and drive best practices approach to continuously improve our Applications, processes, and tools.
• Provide support to business users for using the systems, bug fixing, minor enhancements, and fine-tuning for accommodating operation needs and ensuring smooth day-to-day operation.

You will be reporting to the Head of Creatives, working collaboratively with the editorial and Vizrt operations support teams on all internal and external sports programs, and crafting innovative and cutting-edge ways to tell our stories.

REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education/Experience-

• Associate or Diploma and above
• Preferably Junior/Senior Executive specialized in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
• 1 and half or more years of Programming experience:
• Oversee and fix any defects or performance problems discovered in testing
• Experience in common architecture frameworks and services, including those available from Open-Source communities.
• Experience with various programming languages and structures also required such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, JQuery, AJAX, ReactJS, Angular, Node.js, MVC, C#, ASP.Net Core, Laravel
• Experience with large relational database structures and experience with website design and development of front-end and back-end web-based services.
• Experience with integration technologies such as web services, SOAP, REST, and XML.
• Experience with continuous integration and related tooling such as: Jenkins/Hudson, Nexus, ESLint, Selenium, Sonar, Maven, Ant, and GIT.
• Experienced in management and development in SQL Server database (MySQL, Stored Procedure, Trigger, etc.). Advantage if familiar with Hana Database.

Skills and Abilities-

• Worked on both short-turnaround and long-term projects as and when required
• Worked closely with the Graphics Management Team and Graphics Engineering to ensure the system is operationally and technically robust.

• Ensure compliance with company guidelines and deadlines.
• The ability to perform well under pressure, an expert multi-tasker who can shift between concurrent assignments, prioritize effectively, and adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles under pressures
• Self-motivated and willing to take the initiative
• You're able to work flexible hours as needed
• Passionate about sports, live production and animation
• Demonstrates objective creative judgment based on a thorough understanding of an organization’s editorial guidelines, target audience, program, and departmental objectives
• Understanding of television control room workflow and operations is a plus
• Coding experience with VBScript and Viz Script, and/or knowledge of other common scripting languages is highly beneficial and is a plus – this is to leverage Vizrt and other real-time graphics production tools to design and develop concepts

Work Environment:

• Standard office environment
• Overtime, weekend, and/or holiday work will be required
• Able to work on a shift system
