The company seeks a versatile Software Developer to manage analytics pipelines, refine machine learning models, curate databases, and develop full-stack web applications. This role requires expertise in Python/R, SQL/NoSQL, LLM development, and modern web technologies. You will work on cutting-edge projects involving microbiome data analysis and contribute to building scalable, data-driven solutions.

Principal Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end analytics pipelines for processing and analyzing large datasets.

Use Python and R to automate data workflows, including extraction, transformation, and visualisation.

Collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to ensure pipelines meet analytical requirements.

Refine and train LLMs using microbiome-specific datasets to improve predictive accuracy and biological relevance.

Preprocess, clean, and structure unstructured microbiome data for model input.

Optimize models using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face Transformers.

Evaluate model performance and iterate based on domain-specific metrics.

Multivariate Database Curation

Design and maintain SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) databases to store complex, multivariate datasets.

Ensure data integrity, scalability, and efficient querying for analytical and application use cases.

Integrate databases with analytics pipelines and applications via APIs or ORM tools.

Full-Stack Web Development

Build server-side logic and APIs using Node.js, Ruby, PHP, or Python (Django/Flask).

Ensure seamless integration between front-end, back-end, and database systems.

Required Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

Strong software engineering skills and design principles, such as object-oriented programming, version control, and runtime optimisation.

Strong coding and data structure fundamentals in Python and R
