Job description

We invite suitably qualified applicants to fill the following vacancies:

1. Lecturer, Department of Media Studies

Possess a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Journalism, Broadcasting, Political Science, Public Relations, Film and Television or any related field.

Preferably with working/teaching experience in relevant fields.

2. Lecturer, Department of Information Technology

• Possess at least a Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline and a Bachelor's degree in Computing field.
• Preferably with working/teaching experience in relevant fields. Doctorate holders are encouraged to apply.

Teaching Specialization/Subjects: IoT Fundamentals, Robotics and Embedded Systems, Ethical Hacking, Digital Forensics, Industrial Cybersecurity, Information Management and Security, 3D Modelling and Animation, Virtual Reality Development, Augmented Reality and Mixed Reality, etc.

3. Multimedia & Visual Communication Lecturer, Department of Art and Design

• Possess at least a Master's degree in New Media, Visual Communication, Photography, Graphic Design or any related fields. Preferably with working/teaching experience in relevant fields.
• Teaching specialization: 3D modelling, 2D animation, 3D animation, 3D game design, user interface (UI), user experience (UX), web design, Photography, Video Production, Publication, Visual Communication or Advertising.
• Good command of spoken/written English is essential.

4. Interior Design Lecturer, Department of Art and Design

• Possess at least a Master's degree in Interior Architecture & Design. Preferably with working/teaching experience in relevant fields.
• Registered as an Interior Designer or Graduate Interior Designer with the Board of Architects of Malaysia (LAM) or equivalent.
• Teaching specialization: Introduction to Interior Design Process, History of Architecture, Furniture Design, Building Technology, etc.
• Good command of spoken/written English is essential. Proficiency in Chinese will be an added advantage.
• Undertake postgraduate teaching and supervision.

6. Education Programme Specialist, Institute of International Education

• Possess a recognized Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Provide information and advice to international students on all matters related to student pass and visa, facilitate the arrival of new international students, coordinate with EMGS for approval and documentation of Student Pass and Visa applications, etc.
• Assist in organizing related activities, conferences, seminars, and workshops for the Institute.

7. Secretary of Dean's Office, Institute of International Education

• Possess a recognized Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

Secretarial support for meetings as required by the Dean, including drafting and circulating meeting agendas, preparing minutes, communicating meeting reminders, and confirming venues.

Manage, coordinate, and maintain the Dean's calendar including appointments, meetings, and travel, following up on matters as instructed by the Dean.

8. Software Developer, Computer Centre

• Possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or related discipline.
• Gather and analyze requirements, design technical specifications, develop solutions, problem-solve, test, implement, and support campus systems.
• Familiar with the LNMP (Linux, Nginx, MariaDB, PHP7) environment.

9. Executive, Marketing and Sales Department

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Possess a valid driving license with experience, willing to travel within the country frequently.
• Possess excellent sales skills, articulate, able to make presentations at schools, assist in student recruitment, education fairs, etc.

11. Graphic Designer, Branding and Creative Department

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related discipline.
• Conceptualize, curate, and produce branding-related designs across all media platforms.

Possess at least a Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent.

In charge of maintaining the computer lab, providing technical assistance to staff and students, including PC assembly, installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
