We are seeking a talented React Native Developer to join our technology team in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, contributing to the creation of innovative solutions that serve our users across iOS and Android platforms. This position is central to our mobile-first strategy, and you will work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality applications that meet our business objectives and user expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android platforms
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into functional mobile solutions
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure code quality and consistency
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimise application speed and responsiveness
• Integrate third-party APIs and libraries to enhance application functionality
• Participate in debugging and troubleshooting application issues across different devices and operating systems
• Stay current with React Native updates, emerging technologies, and industry best practices
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools

About you

• Proven 2 - 5 years professional experience developing mobile applications using React Native
• Experience with cross-platform mobile development and familiarity with native iOS and Android development principles
• Demonstrated experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Context API, or MobX
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating backend services
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git
• Experience with testing frameworks and a commitment to writing unit and integration tests
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
