The Role

Application Developer Responsibilities

• Developers will be involved in reviewing current state design and working with the technical lead to define future state design, document, review, develop, test, and implement code features. Our group creates and maintains decision support. Working as a member in an Agile Scrum, developers are involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.

Ideal Profile

• Degree required in IT, CS, SWE, or related field.
• Proven track record of delivering quality features within business applications, preferably in an Agile/Scrum team environment.
• Good grasp of T-SQL and C#.
• Hands-on experience with MVC and Database concepts.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills with knowledge of design patterns.
• Preferably experience in Client Server Application development, but web-based technologies with Microsoft stack are also considered.
• LINQ knowledge is an advantage.
• Knowledge of supply chain concepts is highly desirable; supply chain experience is a plus.

Application Developer Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in back-end and front-end development.
• Proficiency in Transact-SQL queries (T-SQL).
• Experience with MS SQL Server development (stored procedures, functions, etc.).
• Relational database modeling skills.
• Object-oriented programming and knowledge of OO design patterns.
• Proficiency in C#.
• Experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core 2.
• Experience with Angular 2+.
• Candidates must be based in Penang for hybrid work.
