Job summary

Always Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a skilled full stack developer to design and build modern applications, maintain our in-house field force platforms such as RetailAIM and SpotForce, and ensure robust, scalable code across mobile and desktop environments.

You will work in an Agile team, write unit and integration tests, troubleshoot performance issues, and stay current with new technologies to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, IT, or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of hands-on web development in production.
• Strong proficiency in React.JS, Vue.js, C#, .NET, ASP.NET, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with SQL and Azure SQL; knowledge of database design and optimization.
• Experience with Git and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and clear communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the full software development lifecycle — from concept and design through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support
• Build fully functional, responsive web applications using clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
• Write comprehensive unit tests, integration tests, and UI tests to ensure quality and catch issues early
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and reliability
• Ensure solutions are robust, extensible, reusable, and easy to integrate/test across platforms
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver business value
• Stay current with emerging technologies and proactively apply them to improve our solutions

Key Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field (or equivalent practical experience and training)
• At least 1-3 years of hands-on web development experience in a production environment.
• Strong proficiency in React.JS, Vue. JS, C#, .NET (preferably .NET Core), ASP.NET, HTML and CSS.
• Solid experience with SQL, Azure SQL (database design, querying, optimization).
• Working knowledge of Git for version control and familiarity with DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure cloud environment (e.g., App Services, Functions, storage, deployment pipelines).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach and strong sense of ownership
