Job Description: Junior Software Developer at YGL

YGL is at the forefront of delivering robust ERP solutions tailored to meet the dynamic needs of businesses. With a focus on innovation and client satisfaction, we are seeking a motivated Junior Software Developer to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about software development and providing top-notch client support.

Your Responsibilities :

1. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving client-reported issues related to Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Finance, and E-Invoice modules.
2. Serve as the first point of contact for clients, providing technical support for the above modules.
3. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues efficiently and professionally.
4. Develop, test, and maintain new features and enhancements for ERP software.
5. Engaged in Software Development using VB Language / C# / ASP.net and DevExpress Data Library.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and develop solutions.
7. Optimize database performance and scalability.
8. Troubleshoot and debug issues in the code and database.
9. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to team members.
10. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.
11. Continuously improve the software development process.

Required Skills and Experience:

1. Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
2. High proficiency in C# / Visual Basic / ASP.NET / MS SQL Server / DevExpress Data Library.
3. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
4. At least 1-2 years of experience in ERP software development such as SAP, Epicor, SQL, UBS Accounting Software, etc.
5. Applicants must be willing to work in Georgetown, Penang.
