Job Description
- Manufacturing Strategy: Determine manufacturing feasibility and develop strategies.
- Capabilities Communication: Communicate manufacturing capabilities to stakeholders (R&D, etc) and offer solutions for better manufacturability.
- Release Criteria: Collaborate with stakeholders (R&D, marketing) to determine criteria and schedule for manufacturing and shipping releases.
- Manufacturing Plan: Own the creation, execution, and results of the manufacturing plan.
- Progress Updates: Communicate progress and status to stakeholders and management, highlight and follow through on major issues.
- Point-of-Contact for Issue Resolution: Coordinate across functional and organizational boundaries to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Transition Execution: Liaise with R&D for successful product transitions to manufacturing.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership for software tools and data system PCs with OEM vendors.
- Project Management: Perform project management tasks like planning, setting objectives, scoping, decision making, communication, and issue resolution.
- Manufacturing Technologies: Identify, influence, and implement manufacturing technologies and improvements.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers.
- Product Rollout: Plan and lead the rollout of data systems and peripherals for Agilent products.
- Product Support: Provide product support for data systems and software manufacturing issues.
- Escalation Channel: Resolve technical DEFOA issues and ship-hold problems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain or related fields.
- At least 8 years of relevant work experience.
- Understanding of product structure, BOMs, scheduling, supply chain functions and processes.
- Strong knowledge of PC and workstation technology, Operating System, configuration, imaging, deployment, and recovery.
- Working knowledge of SAP and Agile PLM.
- Excellent in analytical, planning, problem-solving skill.
- Ability to influence and interact with business partners.
- Strong project management leadership.
