Job summary

MKA Joycare SDN. BHD. in Malaysia is seeking a Social Media Intern to help plan, shoot, edit, and post engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Xiaohongshu.

You’ll write captions, monitor engagement, and contribute ideas for campaigns. The role requires a recent or ongoing diploma/degree in marketing or related fields and strong English communication. The position is fully on-site at our Puchong office, with a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Xiaohongshu
• Familiarity with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, or similar editing software)
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proactive, creative, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, edit, and produce engaging photos, short videos (Reels & TikToks), and visual content for multiple platforms.
• Create, schedule, and post content consistently on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Xiaohongshu.
• Write compelling captions and adapt content to suit each platform’s style and algorithm.
• Monitor comments and engage with our community to build stronger audience relationships.
• Research trending topics and contribute fresh ideas for campaigns and content series.
• Track basic performance metrics and help optimize future content.

Job description

We're looking for a Social Media Intern who lives and breathes content. If you're always scrolling TikTok, saving Reels ideas, or spotting trends before everyone else - this might be your thing. This role is perfect if you're creative, love storytelling, and want real hands‑on experience building a brand online.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, shoot, edit, and produce engaging photos, short videos (Reels & TikToks), and visual content for multiple platforms.

Create, schedule, and post content consistently on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Xiaohongshu.

Write compelling captions and adapt content to suit each platform’s style and algorithm.

Monitor comments and engage with our community to build stronger audience relationships.

Research trending topics and contribute fresh ideas for campaigns and content series.

Track basic performance metrics and help optimize future content.

Requirement

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.

Basic knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Xiaohongshu

Familiarity with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, or similar editing software)

Our office is located at 40, Jln TPP 5, Taman Perindustrian Putra, 47130 Puchong, Selangor.

Working days are Mon-Fri, 9.00am to 6.00pm (Fully on‑site)
